MOON:ON

A round body, a pointed hat,
and grain stalks and seaweed that sway as it dances—
meet Jangjamari! 🌾🌊

This playful character from Gangneung’s folklore
opens Gangneung’s traditional mask play.

With lively moves, Jangjamari draws the crowd’s attention
and drives away bad spirits with its ground-clearing dance. ✨

Its round belly, grain stalks, and seaweed
symbolize wishes for plentiful harvests and abundant catches!

A charming character with a wish for abundance—
does Jangjamari feel a little more familiar now? 💛
