“HELPER”
🔥 SHE WAS NEVER CREATED TO BE LESS THAN YOU! 🔥
MEN, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT GENESIS 2:18!
God said He would make man a HELPER suitable for him.
But the original Hebrew says EZER KENEGDO.
EZER means help or helper. KENEGDO means corresponding to him, a suitable counterpart.
NOW WATCH THIS!
The same Hebrew word EZER is used repeatedly to describe GOD HIMSELF!
Psalm 121:2 says our help comes from the LORD!
So if God is called our HELPER, why have some people interpreted HELPER as meaning inferior?
🔥 HELP DOESN’T MEAN WEAKNESS!
Genesis 1:27 says BOTH male and female were created in God’s image.
Genesis 1:28 shows BOTH received His blessing and mandate.
Genesis 2:18 reveals God’s provision of a corresponding partner.
Then SIN entered the picture!
Genesis 3:16 describes the brokenness and struggle that followed.
DON’T CONFUSE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE FALL WITH GOD’S ORIGINAL DESIGN!
And husbands, Ephesians 5:25 doesn’t command you to dominate your wife.
It commands you to LOVE HER AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH!
That’s sacrificial leadership!
🔥 A WOMAN IS NOT LESS VALUABLE BECAUSE GOD CALLED HER A HELPER!
And a man doesn’t become a godly leader simply because he demands authority.
TRUE KINGDOM LEADERSHIP LOOKS LIKE JESUS!
Let’s stop defending traditions that Scripture doesn’t require and start examining everything through the WORD!
