Day 18. Consistency over comfort.

Five things I would have told my younger self.

I ain’t gonna lie, I got a little emotional recording this. Some lessons are hard to talk about without remembering what it took to learn them.

There’s so much I wish I could’ve explained to that younger version of me. What money would reveal. What heartbreak would teach me. How much I’d love my son and still have to learn how to be the father he needs.

And how I’d have to trust God even when life looked nothing like what I had planned.

But I’d really want him to hear this: stay open. There are people you haven’t met and moments you haven’t experienced that deserve a chance. Don’t let what hurt you decide how you approach the rest of your life.

Thank You, God, for bringing me this far and continuing to work on me. I still have growing to do, and I’m grateful I get the chance.
