A little throwback to where it all started… 🥹❤️ When I first started sharing my workouts on Instagram and Snapchat, there were no Stories, no Reels, no Lives… not even 60-second videos! You had TWO options: post a photo or a 15-second video. That was it! When I decided to start sharing my workouts online, I had absolutely no idea it would turn into what it is today: a community of millions of women around the world. I started posting because I had fallen in love with fitness. Not just how it changed my body, but how it changed my mind, my confidence, and the way I felt about myself. I was genuinely amazed by how much FUN working out could be, and I wanted other women to experience that too. You have to remember, this was 2015. Gyms were still pretty intimidating for a lot of women. You couldn’t just open your phone and scroll through thousands of videos of women lifting heavy, trying new exercises, competing in sports, or crushing HYROX competitions. Fitness content for women looked VERY different back then. So when I shared an exercise or a workout, my goal wasn’t to go viral. It was to EDUCATE. I wanted to make fitness more approachable. To show women that there were SO many ways to move their bodies, that getting stronger could actually be FUN, and that you didn’t have to be an expert to walk into a gym and try something new. I wanted women to feel confident picking up weights, experimenting with exercises, and discovering what their bodies were capable of. And if you look closely at some of these videos, you’ll even see me MacGyvering my own landmine setup before they were common in gyms! 😂 Looking back at these videos reminds me that while social media has changed A LOT, the reason I started sharing never has. I fell in love with fitness, and I wanted as many women as possible to fall in love with it too. And more than a decade later, that’s still exactly why I’m here. #fitness #womensfitness #freeworkout I KNOW some of you have been here since these 15-second workout videos!! 🥹 Who remembers these?! Comment below if you’ve been here since the beginning! 👇
