Troy Sawyer

FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION

I wrote “PEACE” from a simple realization that sometimes, in trying to keep the peace, we lose a piece of ourselves.

The song is about finding the courage to stay true to who you are while navigating conflict, relationships, and life.

Rooted in my New Orleans sound and inspired by Afrobeat, global rhythms, and my journeys to Belize, “PEACE” is my reflection on authenticity, healing, and finding peace without losing myself.
