BLUE MONDAYS — WARM UP FOR RON HARDY (DISCO MIX)

Ron Hardy could take a disco record somewhere nobody expected. At Chicago’s Music Box, that freedom helped shape the language of house music.

Blue Mondays pay tribute to him with “Warm Up for Ron Hardy”: loose, urgent and made for the moment when disco turns into house. We love this track.

Ron Hardy’s influence runs through Skylax. I’ve also thanked him in the credits of my forthcoming I Am A Cult Hero record. This dedication is personal.
