Without a doubt, these shoes define an era; for some, they were their introduction to fashion, designer fashion, or simply the desire to look good when getting dressed. They’re worn but still in good condition; in fact, I love the way they look—they transport me to another time

They defined an era when everything was so different—both fashion and music. I remember being a kid and seeing all the artists and influential figures wearing the brands of the time and sporting these shoes or the red ones; in a way, I felt like I was part of a movement. Realistically, the hypebeast era brought some positive contributions, just as it brought some negative ones, it all depends on the value the consumer places on them

I’m not a fan of Virgil Abloh’s work, but the legacy he left behind is undeniable, and you can still see traces of his influence today

I was especially excited to write this post because I wanted to express that, in fashion, any piece is valid as long as it has a purpose and holds value for the wearer
