A #Miami jury found #NFL free-agent wide receiver #TyreekHill liable on two counts of battery in a civil domestic violence trial on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, ordering him to pay his estranged wife, #LakeetaVaccaroHill, $500,000 in compensatory damages. The high-profile trial concluded with a mixed verdict, as the six-person jury found Hill not liable on the remaining eight counts, which included additional claims of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and continuing domestic violence. The two counts for which he was held liable stemmed from physical altercations that occurred in January 2024 and April 2025. While Vaccaro Hill’s attorneys sought significantly more in damages during closing arguments, the jury denied her request for punitive damages. Hill’s legal team expressed gratitude that he was able to share his account, while the NFL confirmed that the situation remains under active review under the league’s personal conduct policy.
