We are SUPER into Roll/Flip/Draw and Writes lately! It’s something about the easy set up, accessible gameplay and bite sized playtime that has fit just perfectly into our HECTIC lives! Do you love them? What’s your favourite? On the flip side maybe like us a year ago you really don’t like the idea of them! Maybe one of these will change your mind! Give one a try and let us know! Only Bordeaux was gifted, the rest were purchased 🫶🏻 PS: Does anyone actually listen to our song choices on here? We have had this, Patient Zero and Babylon on repeat at our table all week 😁 Seems very appropriate considering we get married in a week ❤️ . . . . . #flipandwrite #rollandwrite #travelgames #boardgamerecommendations #taylorswift
Loma Linda University runs one of the few programs in the country built entirely around preventing Alzheimer’s rather than managing it, and Dean and Ayesha Sherzai run it. Their framing starts with the timeline. Amyloid and tau accumulate for roughly two decades before anyone notices a symptom, and because the brain carries no pain receptors, none of it registers while it happens. The first forgotten name sits at the end of a long process, not the start of one. That gap is the entire opportunity, and the numbers attached to it are better than most people expect. Dhana and colleagues (Neurology, 2020) found that people following four or five healthy lifestyle factors had a 60% lower risk of Alzheimer’s dementia than those following zero or one. The Sherzais’ NEURO framework is built on that pattern. Diet carries its own figure. Morris and colleagues (Neurology, 2018) tracked older adults and found that roughly one daily serving of leafy greens corresponded to cognitive aging equivalent to being 11 years younger, though the design makes it an association rather than proof. Exercise and sleep each have a mechanism behind them. Brisk walking raises BDNF, a growth factor supporting the formation of new neural connections. Deep sleep drives the glymphatic system, which clears the same proteins implicated in the disease. Worth keeping the honest caveat attached: most of this is observational, so these habits track with lower risk rather than demonstrably causing it, and genetics and healthcare access still shape outcomes. Nothing here buys a guarantee. It moves the odds, starting decades before the odds appear to matter. We send a free weekly email covering the latest science on longevity, health, and performance. 🎥: Youtube/Sekretariat Presiden Penulis: Adhyasta Dirgantara, Robertus Belarminus Kreatif: Jessica Meisya Kurnia Produser: Reza Kurnia Darmwan ~J #Karhutla #Kebijakan #Cut [2026101314022581]
