Three men in China were filmed pushing their car for nearly 500 meters after drinking alcohol, choosing not to drive while intoxicated. The incident took place in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, on June 11, 2025. According to local traffic police, one man guided the steering wheel from outside the car while the other two pushed from behind. CCTV footage confirmed that no one was sitting in the driver’s seat. Police said the incident did not meet the criteria for drunk driving under the circumstances. However, pushing a car along public roads still violated traffic regulations and posed a safety risk to other road users. The unusual incident sparked discussions online, with many debating whether pushing a car is a safer alternative to driving after drinking.

𝕎𝕆ℝ𝕋ℍ 𝕋ℍ𝔼 ℍ𝕐ℙ𝔼? 𝕐𝔼𝕊 👇🏻

Often on bookstagram there are books that I feel almost pressured to read. Some because I have a bad case of reading FOMO (the WORST case) and others because it's the book that appears on every third post. This fall, Grim Tidings has been IT. So is this book really IT?

IMHO, 100% yes.

I really enjoyed B.K Borison's GOOD SPIRITS last year, but GRIM TIDINGS stole my soul (IYKYK). Devastatingly, heart-achingly beautiful, with tension and desire so palpable it jumped off the page. It's also got a super interesting paranormal premise written with such nuance, complexity and carefulness.

I already knew I liked enemies to lovers, he falls first, and forced proxmity BUT 'the sad girl reaper meets overprotective guy guardian angel' is a micro trope I'm just going to need more of, please and thank you.

So if you've been eyeing this book or debating whether or not to read it, do yourself a favour and pick it up. You may want to grab a few tissues while you're at it. A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me.

Day 5: Skandamata - Nurturing ✨
Nurturing yourself doesn’t have to mean following a perfect diet or giving up everything you love. Sometimes, it simply means finding better ways to take care of yourself.
For Day 5 of Navratri, I collaborated with @fit.khurana a certified nutrition and fitness coach, to explore what nurturing can look like through food and everyday choices.
Instead of cutting out the foods we love, we’re showing how you can “healthify” them by adding more protein, nutrients and wholesome ingredients to make them more balanced, while still keeping them enjoyable.🫶🌿

Recipe ⬇️ (Makes 6 Tikkis | ~100 Cals | ~6g Protein per Tikki)

Ingredients

🥔 150g steamed sweet potato
🌱 80g raw sabudana
🧀 100g low fat paneer
🌶️ 1 green chilli, finely chopped
🥜 5 to 6 peanuts, crushed
⚪ ½ tsp sesame seeds
🌿 ½ tsp cumin powder
🌶️ ½ tsp red chilli powder
🧂 Sendha namak as per taste
🌿 Fresh coriander, chopped
🫒 A little oil for brushing

For the Green Chutney

🥜 1 tbsp peanuts
🌿 1 handful fresh coriander
🌿 1 handful fresh mint
🌶️ 1 green chilli
🥛 100g Greek yogurt
🧂 Sendha namak as per taste

How to Mak

2- Steam, peel and mash the sweet potato. Mix with the soaked sabudana, crumbled paneer, green chilli, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, cumin powder, red chilli powder, sendha namak and coriander.

3- Mash everything together and shape into 6 equal tikkis.

4- Lightly brush with oil and air fry at 180°C for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
