Cheers to another year 🥂 Happy Birthday brother 🎂
If you go to a real estate conference it is guaranteed that someone will use this line. And people will eat it up like barking seals. That changes today. We must call out the hot air when we hear it!!
A beautiful city with my favourite person! ❤️
Former Conservative MP Michelle Ferreri joins Stephen LeDrew to ask whether Canadians are becoming overwhelmed — and increasingly numb — to controversies surrounding government spending, transparency and accountability. The conversation begins with the appointment of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s wife, Diana Fox Carney, as Canada’s volunteer Ocean Envoy and chair of the 2027 Our Ocean Conference, alongside Ottawa’s separate $82-million commitment to expand international ocean observation. Ferreri and LeDrew also discuss the loss of tens of $Millions$ in Sustainable Development Technology Canada and a much larger problem: when Canadians are confronted with a constant stream of political stories, spending announcements and controversies, do they eventually stop paying attention? Ferreri argues that information overload is contributing to political exhaustion, mistrust and apathy. This is the first Three Minutes. Become a member to watch the full 10-minute conversation with Michelle Ferreri — including Carney’s popularity, media coverage, online regulation and why she believes Canadians need to start demanding measurable results from government. Topics Covered: - Government accountability - Diana Fox Carney’s Ocean Envoy appointment - Ottawa’s ocean-monitoring investment - The SDTC controversy - Political information overload - Why voters become numb - Trust in government - Carney’s continued popularity - Accountability versus personality
first trimester moments!!! the last few months have been so special 🤍
Happy 40th birthday to the love of my life and the coolest friend of yours. Ever since we started dating my favorite string of words in the English language has become when Stephanie says “did I ever told you the story about…” because what follows always leaves me feeling like 😭😭😻😮😮🥰 Every city we visit unlocks new ways of knowing her and invites stories of the times she travelled there before, for countless weddings and work conferences, spring breaks and summer internships, to visit one of her ten thousand friends, or one of their parents. At almost all times of the day she is having more conversations than most people have in 6 months. Sending the link for some stylish piece, sweeping every “HaHa” in various group chats, WhatsApp voice-memo swapping life updates with friends in foreign countries, project managing dinner reservations and mah jong tournaments, and attentively replying to all of my innermost thoughts and daily observations. She’s been to every country I think. Or close. And somehow also found time to teach middle school in New Orleans for 8 years, get an Ivy League MBA, have her apartment featured in Vogue and New York Times. Somehow, unlike most of us reality stars, going on Survivor is the least cool thing about her. It’s the greatest thrill of my life to call her my girlfriend and best friend and to be able to witness how she moves through the world. This weekend she created a summer camp in the Poconos and 60 of her favorite people came from everywhere to celebrate and it’s a tv writers wet dream. Here’s to a weekend, year and lifetime of celebrating your magic. I’m proud to know you, and hopeful to be a part of your stories for 40 and beyond.
