Spent the last 2 weeks in Bali with my loved ones. Grateful for life 🙏🏻

Here's some memories...

Experienced the power of Balinese Hindu culture in Ubud. Highly recommended.

Covered in our vlog, powered by @flywale

Both my girl & me decided to turn these 2 weeks into a "workcation"

Trying to simulate a possible Bali reality.

My gut health has been phenomenal lately, thanks for asking.

Women over 40 have been conditioned to believe that getting lean means:

☕ Black coffee for breakfast
🔥 Fasted morning workouts
⏰ Waiting until lunch to eat

And while this approach may have worked for you in your 20s and 30s, your body’s needs can change during perimenopause.

Here’s what most women don’t realize.👇

Cortisol naturally peaks in the morning. Add caffeine, intense fasted workouts, and hours without nutrition, and you may be making it harder to recover, maintain muscle, and perform at your best.

And when estrogen begins fluctuating and declining, preserving lean muscle becomes even MORE important.

Yet so many women are doing the opposite.

They’re training harder, eating less, and wondering why they’re losing muscle definition instead of building it.

💪 Here’s where essential amino acids (EAAs) come in.

EAAs, especially leucine, help:

✔️ Stimulate muscle protein synthesis
✔️ Support muscle maintenance and recovery
✔️ Provide essential building blocks for muscle without a full meal
✔️ Help support lean muscle goals when training before breakfast

And unlike coffee alone, EAAs actually provide your muscles with the amino acids they need.

Now, does this mean you HAVE to eat before every workout? No.

Does fasted training automatically increase cortisol to harmful levels or cause muscle loss? Also no.

But if you’re consistently underfueling, struggling with recovery, or losing muscle definition, it’s time to rethink your strategy.

Because after 40, getting lean isn’t about eating less and training harder. It’s about fueling strategically, building muscle, and recovering properly.

And remember, EAAs are a tool, not a replacement for adequate protein and nutrition.

💥 Drop “MUSCLE” and I’ll send you information on how to support lean muscle growth after 40 while working WITH your changing physiology, not against it.

When you show up like you own the leaderboard. ⛳️✨
