I am grateful to have been selected for the documentary writing residency exchange jointly organised by the Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec @fcvq_qcff and le Festival Vues du Québec with my new project « Dans son ventre ».
Other than knowing that I would find myself in the very place where much of my film is set, and that I would have time to focus on my project, I didn’t know exactly what to expect.
I found so much there. It was precious.
I was able to immerse myself in the territory and take the time to reflect on and develop my ideas and writing.
I am deeply thankful to the entire @fcvq_qcff and Vues du Québec team, especially @kidzaii, Marc Gauthier, @riouupasdex, @guillaumesapin, @lena_mill_ and everyone who helped me during my stay.
