I am thrilled and deeply honored to announce that the international premiere of my short film THE BRIDGE will take place at the 32nd @sarajevofilmfestival! 🙏 The film has been selected for the Béla Tarr in Sarajevo Tribute. THE BRIDGE is my first documentary and holds a very special place in my heart. Béla advised me throughout the process, and I am deeply grateful. I directed, wrote and edited the film. Synopsis / Around the bridge, the filmmaker’s mother inhabits every landscape she films. Does a place not retain any memory of what happened? A huge thank you to the incredible team who made this film possible: 💛 DOP: @capronmichael Editing Consultant: @_____maksa_____ Sound: @hugo_r0ssi Sound mix: @simonapostolou Color correction: Graziella Zanoni Post production studio: @cairnproductions A special mention to @juliette_gou for the beautiful poster,
and @sndrnng for the credits. Produced by Jérome Blesson & me @labelleaffaireprod Production assistant: @maxafshargordji, Ambre Dagerma Production secretary: @cavigneauxflore With the support of @le_cnc, Région Occitanie, @villedemontpellier and Conseil départemental du Gard. If you’re in Sarajevo, come say hi - I’ll be there for the festival! The film was previously selected in France at @cinemed and @lesdocsdenoirmoutier . More news coming soon! ✨

I am grateful to have been selected for the documentary writing residency exchange jointly organised by the Festival de Cinéma de la Ville de Québec @fcvq_qcff and le Festival Vues du Québec with my new project « Dans son ventre ». Other than knowing that I would find myself in the very place where much of my film is set, and that I would have time to focus on my project, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I found so much there. It was precious. I was able to immerse myself in the territory and take the time to reflect on and develop my ideas and writing.
I am deeply thankful to the entire @fcvq_qcff and Vues du Québec team, especially @kidzaii, Marc Gauthier, @riouupasdex, @guillaumesapin, @lena_mill_ and everyone who helped me during my stay. #fcvq #vuesduquébec #documentaryfilm #filmresidency by @tribouletlea

a statement from the film.factory family on the passing of Béla Tarr We are a family. A crazy, fucked up, utopian filmmaking family. And, now, dad is gone. We were called to film.factory, and to Béla, by a belief in the transformative power of cinema. That the creation of cinema could be a radical act of love and defiance in a world that so clearly needs more of both. For people with such a belief, being with Béla, day in and day out, was like ending a long day of work on the hottest of summer days with a cold beer in the company of friends. This sense of camaraderie and community was fostered by Béla and his vision of film.factory: a worldwide collection of filmmakers living together, collaborating together, eating together, falling in love together, and making together. He would push and prod to try and get your voice and viewpoint to emerge from the language of the film. Battle you with his thoughts and ideas on the project. Forcing you to clarify in your own mind exactly what you were trying to do with the film. But, most of all, he would push us all towards tenderness, radical empathy, freedom and a humor with which to view the world and the movies we make within it. We will all continue to move forward with such an orientation to filmmaking and to the world. And we will continue to make films for, if you knew Béla, you would know nothing would satisfy him more than to have his kids continue the work on the shop floor of film. In the factory of cinema. In the mill of the movies. Punch in in the morning. Punch out at night. Every single day. Working in the plant of moving image and sound. Punch in. Punch out. Punch in. Punch out. Listen. Film. Edit. Listen. Film. Edit. Never losing sight of the freedom in the act. The laughter and joy in the creation. The tenderness to the world. You were our North Star. But, more than that, you were family. We will love and miss you always, Béla. Here’s to listening to life. Now we just go and do… film.factory - Sarajevo, BiH - 2013-2016 by @tribouletlea

"The last bee" Some images from my short film "The last bee", filmed a few years ago in the South of France - during a residency in a high school. On loss and solitude through the eyes of youth. On power of the nature. Topics that is still relevant and universal today. #shortfilms  #shortfilmfestival  #cinema  #purecinema #nature #occitanie by @tribouletlea
