living on a boat in the MALDIVES!!! ⚓️ first off, every single photo in this dump (minus #2, 5, 7) are from the amazing @keana.rivet !!! THANK YOU KEANA 💕 Ok so back in 2025 I found out about @surferelle’s Womens’ surf trips and immediately applied for one once the bookings opened for 2026! I am not typically one to make travel plans so far in advance, but I knew this had to be worth it. Fast forward a year, and here I am!! The boat trip is 7 nights, with 17 other strangers (5 incredible crew members, 3 surf coaches, 1 professional photographer, and 10 other surfers). Mornings are spent watching the sunrise, the we eat a killer breakfast, go out for a surf, hang around on the boat, go out for another surf or go swim with the insane wildlife, play some games, eat more and more food, do some video analysis of our sessions, knock tf out and do it all again the next day! (ps all the strangers turned into friends hehe) This seriously has been such a dream trip and I feel like living on a boat is one of the best ways to see the Maldives. It has been worth every penny. Dolphins greeted us daily, I’ve surfed RIGHT next to turtles, and you’ll see every colored fish of the rainbow!! The coaching from the @surferelle team is top notch and I feel like I’ve already progressed so much in my surfing.
