Today in Stowe 🍁 It’s another beautiful day! We have had such a good run of blue sky days this foliage season. There was a little rain shower that led to a beautiful rainbow, but it’s back to blue skies now!

We are past peak, but the color at the lower elevations are still going strong. Beautiful out there! Get outside and enjoy the Fall weather 🌞🍂

"It's about making sure we look after the teams." A police force in Wales is considering hiring detectives on "zero-hour" style contracts following an "unprecedented" number of murder investigations this year. Gwent Police's Chief Constable Mark Hobrough said the force was having to pay staff overtime and take neighbourhood officers away from their duties to cope with demand. *Viral Claim:* A photo is being shared claiming that Delhi Police committed brutality against a female NSUI member during the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, with captions like “inhumane behaviour, voice being suppressed by lathis and repression.” *Fact Check - What The Full Video Shows:* The viral photo is a cropped still from a longer video shot inside a Delhi Police detention bus during the CJP / Jantar Mantar protest. The full unedited video, which is available, shows a completely different sequence: 1. The female protester is seen smiling and posing for the camera while inside the police bus. No physical force is being applied to her at that moment. 2. Moments later, the same protester is seen aggressively misbehaving with police personnel. She is seen pulling and pushing a woman police constable who is wearing a pink ‘Delhi Police Women Helpline’ vest. 3. She is also seen grabbing and pulling the uniform of male police officers inside the bus and attempting to pull badges. 4. Throughout the incident, Delhi Police personnel are seen maintaining restraint and trying to control the situation without using force. The woman constable is seen trying to de-escalate. Senior journalists including Priya Sinha have contrasted this with a similar incident in Germany, where a male officer tackled a female protester to the ground, to highlight the restraint shown by Delhi Police in this case. *Conclusion:* The claim of police brutality and inhumane behaviour is *misleading*. The cropped photo hides the context where the protester herself was manhandling police personnel. There is no evidence of lathi-charge or brutality against her in the full video. 🎬 ( Hurmat ) is a powerful story of dreams, boundaries, honour and the courage to question them. It shows how restrictions slowly become a way of life for women. Some dreams demand a price. From the pen of Kashif Anwar (Sabaat, Neem) and directed by Nadeem Siddique, comes Hurmat — a journey of a girl who is kept like a prisoner in her own home by her own father. Hurmat (Dananeer Mobeen) is an ambitious young girl from a conservative family who is not even allowed to look at the sky freely, let alone go to university. Her father (Ali Tahir) stops her every dream. But Hurmat wants to fly, to study, to live her own identity. When she moves to a modern city for her higher education, her life changes. There she meets her class fellow (Shahveer Jafry) — love, friendship and new challenges begin. Veteran Javed Sheikh becomes the person who helps her take her first step into the outside world. A woman gets a surname twice — once at birth, and again after marriage. But what is Hurmat's own identity? Will Hurmat find the courage to spread her wings and fly? Will society let her dream?
