Papoose says hip hop needs saving from corny people and the gatekeepers in power. Speaking with our correspondent @agirlfromharlem at an event he hosted last night, Pap said some of the greatest artists never get their shine because people in positions of power intentionally hold them back while pushing less talented artists as better.

He added that the most skillful artists get hated on the most, and that it’s not about materialism. “Some people hate you because of your aura. They hate the effect you got when you walk in the room.”

And if you want a feature, he says he has to hear and like your music first. “I don’t just take people money.”

An unusual incident was reported from Bhilai Power House in Chhattisgarh, where an auto-rickshaw driver allegedly set his own electric rickshaw on fire following a dispute over picking up passengers.

According to media reports, the argument between auto drivers escalated, prompting one driver to allegedly pour petrol on his electric rickshaw and set it ablaze. Bystanders reportedly tried to stop him and reason with him, but he allegedly ignored their pleas.

Reports further claim that police arrested the driver and sent him to jail. However, the details of the incident and the police action could not be independently verified through an official statement.
