The eating continues. This time back at home. Pork tenderloin, green beans from our garden, fried green tomatoes with smoked paprika topping, also from our garden, corn on the cob, and some delicious potato experiment!!.
one thing Tibor and I have in common is that we both like to eat!

Celtics basketball on one TV and baseball on the other.
I guess we are officially no longer on vacation. All good things must come to an end.

Greetings from London, where I’m here for a couple of days of work and seeing friends - and staying at the @belmondcadogan, which feels very much like a home from home, now that we’ve moved out of our Highgate abode. I love the view over the treetops of Cadogan Gardens - and the delightful touch of a grog tray in my room - and I’m also enjoying the sense of returning to a familiar neighbourhood from my past. When I first met Philip, he was living nearby in Chelsea - and so this afternoon I made a return visit to see his old house, which is adorned with an original angel plaque above the front door. This has a particular charm for me, because long before I met him - back in the days when I was single - a rather brilliant tarot reader told me that I was going to meet and fall in love with a man called Philip with an angel on the front of his house. I managed to forget this message, as time passed, so imagine my surprise when I finally saw the angel, and realised the significance. Reader, I married him… so here’s to magical thinking, and the invisible wings over the London skies…
