❄️ HOW I MAKE AN ELSA CAKE — PART 2 ❄️

Today, I add a final coat of buttercream and smooth the surface using a flexible plastic smoother.

I place the cake back in the fridge for 5 minutes.

Using a bamboo stick, I mark two vertical lines to help guide my piping.

With piping tip #135, I pipe along the border of the skirt.

Using a round cutter, I mark guidelines to help me pipe the swags with piping tip #27.

Once all the piping is complete, I decorate the dress with fondant snowflakes and sprinkles to create a magical Elsa cake! ❄️✨👑

Just beautiful Merlyn. May I ask you question please. The hole you made all the way through for the doll to go down into, did you make the top hole larger for the hips to go through? I just happen to be doing a cake similar this week but have always been able to take the legs off. This time they won’t come off, so I was so happy when you posted yesterday and I saw you do this Elsa cake.
