Since I am mainly known for my castle themed models I wanted to challenge myself a bit for Wave 1 of Bricklink Designer Program 2028 and try something completely new. I wanted to create a model that feels both calm and cozy while also evoking a sense of adventure and wilderness. While being surrounded by beautiful nature, my "Modern Log Cabin" is a peaceful retreat and the perfect spot for a longer overdue family holiday.

The model combines both traditional building techniques and modern architectural elements: One of the central features I wanted to include was the gallery and the large two story window at the back of the cabin which allow a lot of natural light to enter the cabin while also giving the people inside an amazing view at the surrounding nature. Through the large window front the cabin's owners can access the back balcony and the jetty below, connecting the cozy quiet of the cabin with the lake below and the majestic nature surrounding it.

The "Modern Log Cabin" is one of my brand new submissions to Wave 1 of Bricklink Designer Program 2028! You can now follow the link in my bio to vote for the model and help to turn it into a real LEGO Bricklink set! Thank you for your support!
