Spending time in nature is imperative to improving your rootwork. The more time you spend connecting with the land, the more you develop an awareness of the natural elements that support your practice.

As a rootworker, it’s important to open yourself up to communicating with nature spirits and developing a relationship with them. You cannot expect to work with the land and its natural resources without taking the time to build that connection.

Get outside. Walk the land. Sit beneath the trees. Pay attention to the plants, the wind, the water, and the energy of your surroundings. Slow down, observe, listen, and learn.

Rootwork is about relationships, not just ingredients. 🌿 The deeper your relationship with nature becomes, the more intentional and connected your work can be.

Remember, rootworkers must develop a relationship with the land to strengthen their practice.
