Lake Superior Provincial Park-August 22-27th.
All I have to say is wow. LSPP is incredible. We spent 5 days here and one post just isn’t going to do it justice so there will be a few. I really see IG as a diary of sorts. Something for me to look back on. I kept saying this is like the Algonquin of the North.(without the crowds😂) It’s a BIG park with the trails all off the highway. We stayed in the Agawa Bay campground with an obstructed view of Lake Superior but that’s okay it was still beautiful. The sunsets were beautiful and the dog beach was really fun for the pups. This park has moved into my top 5, I only wish it were closer. I recommend more than a couple of days here as there is so much to see and do. Keep in mind there is no store or gas station within the park and the drive to the closest town Wawa is about an hour drive away. We did it once during our stay to get a few things we forgot and on the way back hiked one of the incredible trails and visited Old Woman Bay which I’ll share later.
