PiB (Photography in Berlin)

Looking forward to the Inaugural Class of KLASSE MAHLER, opening their group show on Friday, Oct 16, 2026, 7 pm at the Kunstquartier Bethanien | Projektraum in Berlin-Kreuzberg! Ute and Werner Mahler will introduce the works.

Photographers Ute and Werner Mahler have taught together for the first time: over the course of a year, photographers gathered at their retreat near Oranienburg as part of KLASSE MAHLER to develop their own projects. The themes range from everyday life and social change to the search for identity in the 21st century.

Sixteen participants are now showcasing their results in an exhibition. Some are also presenting photobooks based on their projects.
