I’ve always been fascinated by the majesty of the Andean condor. A magnificent bird, capable of soaring to extraordinary heights and looking out over our Andes from above.

As a designer, I wanted to capture that greatness in a boot. I worked with its colors, textures, and volumes to express its strength and elegance, but above all, to carry a piece of our Peruvian identity through my work.

And to think that an inspiration born in our mountains ended up walking the streets of New York is something that fills me with pride. 🇵🇪🗽

Because that’s what I strive for with every creation: to show the world just how much Peruvian design has to offer.

And you, what do you think of my interpretation of our Andean condor? I’d love to hear your thoughts. 🤎

'Ambassador from hell' Kimberly Guilfoyle has been dealt another humiliation after her public firing as envoy to Greece: She won't get a traditional farewell from the Hellenic Republic's leader, sources tell the Daily Mail. The ousted ambassador, who resigned from her post on Tuesday, would have expected to do the rounds of top figures in the Greek government if her tenure had expired under normal circumstances. But the firestorm of accusations against Guilfoyle, 57, that led to the Trump administration calling for her resignation this week means any ceremonial send-off or cozy backslapping with Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas is now firmly off the table, the Daily Mail has been told.
