The 2021–22 Golden State Warriors were one of the most exciting teams in NBA history. Led by head coach Steve Kerr, the Warriors featured superstar Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Their teamwork, championship experience, and strong defense helped them capture the NBA championship and prove that Golden State was still a powerhouse.
Stephen Curry led the team with his incredible three-point shooting, scoring ability, and leadership. Klay Thompson returned from injury during the season and brought his shooting and confidence back to the court, while Draymond Green anchored the defense and helped lead the team with his energy and basketball IQ. Together, the three stars formed the heart of the Warriors’ championship culture.
The Warriors also received important contributions from young players like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney. Poole provided scoring and offensive spark, Wiggins played outstanding defense and made key shots, and Looney brought rebounding and toughness. Their combined efforts helped Golden State defeat the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, winning the franchise’s fourth championship of the Curry era.
