Newport Beach flooded this morning, here's what you need to know:
This morning (10/9) was a 5.8 foot high tide at 9 AM with 6 to 8 foot surf.
on Sunday at 9:48 AM. It’s a 6 foot high tide with 8 to 10 foot surf and then identical conditions to today on Monday with the 5.9 foot high tide.
This wasn't due to high tide, it is a mixture of high surf and erosion from the previous storm. Stay safe out there🫡
