Somewhere along the way, "we're so close" turned into "we're basically the same person." And that's exactly when desire starts quietly disappearing. Attraction needs two people, not one merged identity sharing a room, a closet, and an opinion about everything. Having your own space isn't distance. It's what keeps you from dissolving into "us" so completely that there's no one separate left to actually want. Staying two, even inside a marriage, might be the thing that keeps the desire alive longer than anything else. Gentleman Denim Style in Madrid. On the third day I chose denim and a double-breasted jacket. An accent belt and tassel loafers. I have already written about how to wear denim, so today I want to tell you about Madrid and our adventure in this city. I really love Madrid. The people who live here shared so many places with us where the food is great, and not one of them let us down. And when you go out in the morning for bread and cinnamon rolls and see a queue made up only of locals, you feel like part of their culture. We also found a gelato shop with incredible gelato, especially the pistachio. They came up with something interesting there: they put a brownie in the cup, and it is still warm. Maybe that is too much, but it was so good that we went back a second time. We were lucky with restaurants too. Twice we simply walked past, heard that it was loud and lively inside, went in, and both times the food turned out to be very good. I liked Madrid very much after 8 years, and I hope that next time we come back here much sooner. Adiós, Madrid #theartofbeingagentleman #gentlemanchannel #gentlemanwithstyle #gentlemanstyle #gentlemanclub

Happy Navratri 🙏🏼 (Women, Anger, Celebration, Frustration, Fury, Goodness, Goddess)
The home I dream of building is more than just four walls and a roof. It's a place where peace lives, where love feels safe, and where children never have to question whether they're allowed to be happy. ❤️‍🩹🏡 My house won't smell like cigarettes. My house won't have alcohol as an excuse. My house won't have an angry man around. My house won't have kids walking on eggshells. My house won't have footsteps that make hearts race. My house won't have kids sitting at the top of the stairs. My house won't carry that unwelcome feeling. My house won't have voices raised in rage. My house won't have children hoping today is a good day. Because childhood should be about laughter, not fear. Home should be a place where little hearts feel protected, not a place where they learn to read footsteps, recognize moods, or stay silent to avoid someone's anger. No child should have to wonder which version of a parent will walk through the door. No child should have to hide their feelings, make themselves smaller, or pray for a peaceful day in the place that's supposed to make them feel safest. I want a home where mistakes are met with patience, where disagreements don't become threats, where apologies mean something, and where love isn't something children have to earn by being quiet or perfect. A home where the loudest sounds are laughter, the heaviest feelings can be shared without fear, and every child knows they are loved even on their worst days. Maybe I cannot change the childhood I experienced, the things I witnessed, or the moments that taught me what love should never feel like. But I can choose what happens next. I can break the patterns, unlearn the unhealthy behaviors, and build something softer for the people who will call my home theirs. I don't want a perfect family. I want a healthy one. A family that communicates, forgives, takes responsibility, and chooses kindness even when life gets difficult. Because the real dream isn't an expensive house, beautiful furniture, or a perfect life from the outside.
