25 days agoI get it... it's not conventional from a publishing standpoint but the writing is amazing and I LOVE the US original edition covers. I don't live in the US but I like and invested in the US editions because I saw the Bloomsbury editions that were coming here to New Zealand and I was like NO WAY- Too commercial looking. I LOVE the French edition covers though. They fit the genre and the vibe of the books. When authors are self publishing, which is what Beth did (yay for her... so courageous) then there's natural limitations. And those of us who love the series love the covers. There's symbolism in the colours for each.
25 days agoI honestly thought the same when I first saw them I literally thought it was another journal to buy with fun colors. But hearing everyone say they love the story is what might get me to buy it for Christmas! And now I think it's fun how they are the same with different colors, but it is very different which also can be good too I see ❤️
a month agoI thought the same thing when I first heard of the series. After multiple recommendations I finally tried it, and love it so far!
a month ago100% agree. I have come to love the covers and title, but the title especially makes it hard to clearly convey and appeal to people who've never heard of it
a month ago@messyauthoress Hey! 😊 I came across your page through the writing community, and I love the ideas you share. Have you ever considered turning any of them into a children’s storybook?
