Angel One has started rolling out US stock investing on its app, allowing Indian investors to explore US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) alongside their Indian investments. The feature is currently available to select users, with a wider rollout expected in the coming weeks. The offering includes stocks of companies listed on US exchanges, including global names such as TSMC and ASML through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). This allows investors to explore companies beyond those headquartered in the US. The platform also offers fractional investing, which allows users to buy a part of a share instead of an entire share. According to the brief, investors can start with as little as $1, making it possible to invest in high-priced stocks without buying a full share. Angel One is also offering systematic investment plans (SIPs) in US stocks and ETFs, allowing investors to make regular investments instead of investing a lump sum at once. The move comes as Indian investors look towards international markets to diversify their portfolios and access sectors that may have limited representation in India’s listed markets. The US market offers more than the widely followed technology companies known as the Magnificent 7. Investors can also explore sector-based ETFs, themes such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors, and global companies listed on US exchanges. Angel One’s new offering brings these options to its app, with access currently being expanded beyond select users.
