This one ☝🏼 is named Giuseppino and he’s one of the last fisherman running an active trabucco.

What’s a trabucco?

🐠🎣Along the coast of Puglia and part of Abruzzo, they built these wooden structures jutting out into the sea so they could safely fish even when the seas were too dangerous to navigate by boat.

Our founder @sierradawnart met him and his wife (now passed) in 2018 and loves going back to visit and hear his stories. 🥰

Giuseppino is now 93 and has better posture and mobility than most 70 year olds in some places 😝
