Big day for me. Pretty much ever since I’ve started putting pallet racking up in the shop. I’ve been wanting some sort of forklift to use it to its full potential. For almost 10 years everything that’s up there has gone up on my back on a ladder. After some thought I decided two weeks ago I was fed up. I began looking for forklifts and planned to buy a small outdated propane lift. One thing led to another, and I decided to change direction since I don’t know anything about the slab in my shop and I had concerns over damaging the concrete with a heavy ride on truck and decided to start looking for a stacker lift, then this thing showed up on marketplace. 6 hours of round trip driving later and it’s landed in the shop. It has everything I was hoping for. A 12 V hydraulic pump that runs off a deep cycle battery, adjustable, outriggers, and adjustable forks, and most importantly… 144 inches of lift. With 12 foot racks in my shop being able to finally put things up on the top is a game changer and will alleviate a ton of floor space for me. The previous owner added additional bracing and three-point attachments so I can hook it to the tractor as well, which should come in handy from time to time. Shoutout to the Silverado and my little trailer for never failing me on these adventures and thanks to
@a.warner45 for being my copilot every time even with the 7am push off timeline 😂. I know it’s not glamorous, but this just might be one of my favorite purchases in the last five years. I think I’m getting old..
