@gazascholarsie have made these posters and provided text for those who would like to help the 58 students in Gaza who won full scholarships to Irish universities and are trying to secure visas.

At the moment, most of those visas have been refused - the refusal rate for Palestinian study visas rose from 13% last year to 83% this year - and their appeals are still pending. They are waiting in a war zone, where every day of delay is a day their lives are at risk.

Their courses begin in early November, and even after a visa is granted they still need an exit from Gaza and security clearances.

The Taoiseach and the Minister for Justice should expedite these appeals before 15 October and use the discretion Ireland used last year.
