If you look carefully through the opening montage, you’ll catch all the outfits I designed (minus the ones that were raptured by legal) Cocopon was a big hit with the wasians at the studio

The deterrents from making the general audience into seeing the film were: -The overused flashiness of the artstyle (the fatigue seen in KPDH last year) -The Weredog as the unnecessary, annoying comic relief. We Southeast Asians wanted more serious threatening Filipino monsters in serving the Manananggal as her minions like in Sinbad and ROTG and accurately portray modern Philippines as the broken world it is today just like how HTTYD trilogy did. Dreamworks used to have that edge. What the hell happened to them after their last animated hit The Wild Robot?!
