A Delhi Police personnel was seen addressing people inside a mosque in Old Delhi, urging them not to join any protest or move in large groups ahead of the October 10 CJP protest at Jantar Mantar. The officer also asked people to advise their friends, family and children against being part of crowds, citing restrictions under Section 163 of the BNSS. The police have imposed prohibitory orders in New Delhi ahead of the planned protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The order restricts public gatherings, processions and demonstrations in the area. The move comes as Delhi Police prepares for a large turnout on October 10. Police are also reportedly reaching out to PG owners and RWAs in areas with large student populations and asking them to inform students about the restrictions.

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has claimed that around 10,000 people have been detained across the country ahead of the October 10 protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Police, meanwhile, has said no permission has been granted for the October 10 demonstration. With Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in force in the New Delhi district, police have warned that gatherings will be treated as illegal and urged people not to participate. CJP co-convenor Saurav Das has maintained that the group has formally informed the police about the protest and says the demonstration will go ahead. The standoff follows earlier detentions in Delhi, including around 700 people detained on October 2 as protesters attempted to reach Jantar Mantar. The October 10 protest now sets up a direct clash between CJP’s call for mobilisation and Delhi Police’s decision to treat the proposed gathering as unauthorised.

Mourinho ran all the way across the pitch to celebrate with Vini after he scored 🤗🫶 Earlier this week, Mourinho also defended Vini: “It breaks my heart to see a boy like him suffer.” “He wants to become that Vinícius again, the one who wins matches and makes the difference." "He works incredibly hard to get back to his best. He deserves support.” ❤️
