The problem has never been "foreigners" and ALWAYS been about "Tourists" (just ask Hawaii and New Orleans) but when a government sees an opportunity for bills to be passed that see the benefit of "united by hate" while still making money off of rich tourists they almost always take it.

I live in Rome, I had tourists stopping me to take pictures of my dog ๐ in the park and making me miss my bus stop regularly because they have to be by the exits (wich I understand). Sooooooo... I don't feel particularly bad when I'm the tourists and I want to take a picture in the middle of the way, I earned it by Karma

I agree with them hating them, depending what kind. If it's some like we have here, and we have a big problem here, since it's a tourist island... If it's the kind that don't respect shut, ignore all rules and signals, and then cause of it even create expenses with rescue teams. The same ones that go destroy nature places and protected areas. The same ones like those that were doing pull ups on temples in Japan too. Ye, those kind, I hate, and I agree with anyone that hates them.
