Today, we celebrate HER❤️
The girl child who wakes up with big dreams in a world that keeps telling her to dream smaller.
Look around us, our girls are not safe.
A girl is still being told education is for her brother. A girl is still disinherited just because she is a girl.
A girl is still bleeding on rags because she can't afford a pad.
A girl is still being married off at 14 when she should be in JSS 3.
A girl is still being touched, trafficked, shamed, silenced and told to keep quiet about it.
A girl is still told "you are too much" when she speaks boldly.
At *Family Rebuilders Outreach*, we have seen it. The girl who dropped out because of pregnancy. The girl who is brilliant but hawking on the street. The girl who has been abused by someone she should trust. On the other hand, we have also seen what happens when you INVEST in her.
When you invest in a girl, you don't just educate one child, you rebuild a family. You rebuild a generation.
So today, on *International Day of the Girl Child*, we are making a plea:
Fathers, protect her.
Mothers, affirm her.
Families, educate her.
Communities, stop shaming her.
Nigeria, give her a chance.
She is not just a girl. She is a future mother, leader, builder, president.
Let's choose to INVEST IN GIRLS' RIGHTS, not just in words, but with our money, our voice, and our actions.
