WHY ARE YOUNG MOTHERS SLUMPING AND DYING?

Dear Family Rebuilders, I am increasingly concerned about reports of young women, particularly mothers, suddenly collapsing and dying. This is a wake-up call for every woman to take her health seriously. Sudden collapse is not a diagnosis, and we must not assume that every case has the same cause; however, undiagnosed high blood pressure, heart disease and abnormal heart rhythms, stroke, blood clots, diabetes and severe anaemia can cause life-threatening emergencies. Some of these conditions develop silently, without obvious symptoms, until a crisis occurs. PLEASE, DO NOT ASSUME THAT BEING YOUNG, SLIM, BUSY OR LOOKING HEALTHY MEANS YOU ARE MEDICALLY FIT.

Sisters, your children need you alive, but beyond your responsibilities to your families, YOUR LIFE IS PRECIOUS IN ITSELF! You are not machines; you are human beings who deserve care, rest, medical attention and support. Let us stop postponing medical check-ups until we are seriously ill. Let us stop treating exhaustion as an achievement. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF; YOUR HEALTH IS A RESPONSIBILITY, NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT
May God preserve our lives, protect our families and grant us the wisdom to care for the bodies He has entrusted to us. Amen. by @fro_tribe

Today, we celebrate HER❤️

The girl child who wakes up with big dreams in a world that keeps telling her to dream smaller.

Look around us, our girls are not safe.

A girl is still being told education is for her brother. A girl is still disinherited just because she is a girl.
A girl is still bleeding on rags because she can't afford a pad.
A girl is still being married off at 14 when she should be in JSS 3.
A girl is still being touched, trafficked, shamed, silenced and told to keep quiet about it.
A girl is still told "you are too much" when she speaks boldly.

At *Family Rebuilders Outreach*, we have seen it. The girl who dropped out because of pregnancy. The girl who is brilliant but hawking on the street. The girl who has been abused by someone she should trust. On the other hand, we have also seen what happens when you INVEST in her.

When you invest in a girl, you don't just educate one child, you rebuild a family. You rebuild a generation.

So today, on *International Day of the Girl Child*, we are making a plea:

Fathers, protect her.
Mothers, affirm her.
Families, educate her.
Communities, stop shaming her.
Nigeria, give her a chance.

She is not just a girl. She is a future mother, leader, builder, president.

Let's choose to INVEST IN GIRLS' RIGHTS, not just in words, but with our money, our voice, and our actions.

Happy International Day of the Girl Child from all of us at Family Rebuilders Outreach.

Today, we celebrate the teachers who pour their time, patience and hearts into our children. As mothers, we know that the people entrusted with our children each day become part of their story. You teach far beyond the classroom; you shape confidence, character, discipline and dreams.

At Family Rebuilders, we believe that raising a child is a shared responsibility. Parents and teachers must work hand in hand because when home and school reinforce one another, children are given a stronger foundation to thrive.

To every teacher, thank you for showing up, believing in our children and doing the work that is not always seen. Please keep going. Your work matters, your influence lasts, and we are grateful for you.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Another Monday. Another opportunity to support a child’s education

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow and dream. Through our Back-to-School Outreach, Family Rebuilders Outreach is doing our little part to reduce the number of children who are out of school and help more children get back into the classroom.

We did it at Kapwa and you can do it too! You don’t have to start big. Start with the children and families around you. A school bag, books, shoes, tuition,a kind word would go a long way. Sometimes, what looks small to you can make a life-changing difference to a child.

Together, we can create change and push more children towards education

A healthy and happy family requires wisdom, work and planning.

Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts (TLB)

WHEN TRADITION AND EDUCATION MEET!

Listen to the village chief of Kapwa Community in Lugbe District, FCT Nigeria as he thanks us for our Back to School Outreach.

His words mean everything.
The excitement and reception we got was clear proof of their appreciation. When custodian of a community endorses the work, we know we’re on the right path.

At Family Rebuilders Outreach, we don’t just give books.
We restore dignity. We restore hope. We rebuild families.

"Education is my power. With it, I will lift my family." This was the clear message we brought to the children of Kapwa

To every partner, volunteer, and donor who made this possible:
This is your impact. Thank you!

The work continues. Next community loading...

The sound of school bells is back.

For some families, it’s excitement.
For others, it’s worry. “Will we afford the fees? The books? The bus fare?”

Education shouldn’t be a privilege. It should be a promise.

That’s why we do this work. To walk with families through the worry, so children can walk into classrooms with confidence.

A pencil. A textbook. A term’s fees. Sometimes that’s all it takes to keep a dream alive.

Who was the teacher that believed in you? Tag them and let’s celebrate them this season ❤️

Back to school.
Back to dreams.
Back to possibilities.

Education is not an expense.
It’s the seed and every child deserves soil to grow.

We’re here for the families planting that seed.
Are you with us?

Back to school isn’t just about new uniforms and books.

It’s about hope.
It’s about a child believing that their future can be different from their present.
It’s about a mother knowing that her sacrifice today is an investment in tomorrow.

At Family Rebuilders Outreach, we see education as the first form of financial freedom.
When a child stays in school, a family breaks a cycle.

This season, let’s do more than send kids to school.
Let’s stay. Let’s support. Let’s believe.

To every parent doing their best with what they have: We see you.
