To be perfect for a moment and Before I am nothing, forever are linocuts inspired by the peonies of Doric Place, a quiet flowering walkway in Woodbridge, where the blooms arrive in a flurry of ruffles and are gone almost before anyone has finished admiring them. The titles borrow lines from poems that celebrate the fleeting, wild beauty of these gorgeous flowers.
