It's time to unveil the mystery on Day 12 of 13, leading up to the official launch of our anniversary collection on October 13th, 6:00 PM AEDT.
Day 12: Sweetest in Sunlight
A colour-changing solar polish that goes from a bright pink to a darker reddish-pink when exposed to sunlight or any UV light, that has a red-to-gold shifting aurora fine shimmer running throughout.
Opaque in 3-4 coats.
This is a charity polish in memory of my younger sister, in whose honour I began this brand. October 13th was her birthday. $2 from every bottle sold of this polish will be donated to @rosesintheocean - a national Australian organisation based on the lived experience of suicide. They engage with different groups and institutions across various communities to further the goal of suicide prevention.
To her, I say: My memories of you are sweet. Choreographing dances together, the endless singing, the selfies, the adventures, the furious arguments about who gets to go down the stairs first and the subsequent apologies. But no matter how sweet you are in memory, you were sweetest in the sunlight, when I could see you and know you were there, tangible.
