Kristi Scheunemann’s platform is simple. Start in preschool and kindergarten. By the rest of elementary school, kids will not freeze. They will ask. The more they know, the more they can accept.

Most of that platform came from her own childhood, and from getting older and seeing how much of the world still is not built for disabled people. Stop meeting the status quo.
