Ayer nos encontramos en el terreno de don Andrés, guiados por la 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗷𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 @brigada.chuines y acompañados por integrantes de la comunidad 𝘉𝘦𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘜𝘎 @beeblueug .

Juntxs limpiamos maleza y plantamos cactus, una especie resistente a las altas temperaturas que puede ayudar a crear barreras naturales para ralentizar el avance del fuego y facilitar su manejo.

También repartimos unos bellos fanzines realizados por @mantitacine para la función de @animasivo, que se reprogramó para hoy.

You’ve known me since I was a little kid at Channel Street and you’ve never changed your ways and your love for all of us and skateboarding.. you are one of the ones that believed in me and seen something that I didn’t see myself! I’m so grateful to have been apart of your big night Daewon. This story can go on forever, from you letting me beat you in games of skate as a kid to now.
we still need that game of skate now 😅 anyways Love you big bro! Thank you for always keeping skateboarding fun and creative and never giving up. You are built different.

DNA - Another ✅ on my life list

I still need a moment to take this in. Since my first ascent of B.I.G. it was clear to me that I also want to REPEAT a 9c and DNA was more appealing to me than Silence back then since I spent so much time in the Flatanger cave already. After three trips to the Gorges du Verdon and around 30 days on this route, I clipped the chains on Saturday. It was my ninth livestreamed attempt, with a lot of you watching along, which made the whole thing even more special. 🙏

DNA is way less my style than B.I.G. and for sure the hardest route I’ve ever done (for me personally). It’s a very morphological line where all the boulder problems get harder the shorter you are, which meant also some beta changes compared to Seb and Adam. Many extremely tricky kneebars, which I really had to get used to and get much better at to climb efficient enough. I feel like I learned so much from projecting this route and at the same time I’d never have figured this out so efficiently without @sebbouin‘s beta. Huge respect to him for bolting and sending this crazy line! 🙏

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the live streams and supported me on this mission. It definitely put on a bit of extra pressure, but reading your comments and feeling the psyche of the whole climbing community gave me so much energy ❤️
