Some journeys are more than just work; they become a part of who you are. Being part of News Malayalam since the very beginning has been a journey filled with memories, learning, challenges, growth, and countless beautiful moments. And today, as News Malayalam embraces a brand-new look and a fresh feel, I feel proud and grateful to have been part of this journey from day one. Watching something grow and evolve while growing alongside it is a feeling of its own.. A new look. A fresh perspective. New beginnings. And the same passion to move forward. On this special day of Kerala Piravi, celebrating the spirit of our beautiful state and the journey of a channel that has been a part of mine. Here’s to new beginnings, bigger dreams, and many more milestones together ❤️✨ #NewsMalayalam #KeralaPiravi #NewBeginnings #TheJourney #ProudToBePartOfIt

If you have histamine intolerance or MCAS, are peptides off the table?... Recently on an Ask Me Anything episode of The Art of Being Well, Brittany asked whether it’s safe to try peptides like BPC-157 if you have MCAS or histamine intolerance. It’s a fair question, because people with mast cell activation syndrome can react poorly to even basic supplements. Histamine intolerance is often described as a “pseudoallergy.” It isn’t a true IgE allergy. Mast cells release histamine through receptors like MRGPRX2, and they don’t know how to calm back down. How reactive someone is depends on what’s underneath. Mold, chronic Lyme, SIBO, gut dysfunction, trauma. That’s why there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Here’s what I see clinically: It’s rarely the peptide itself causing a flare. More often it’s the fillers, the purity, the sourcing, or the dose. So start low and slow, and work with a practitioner. The stack we use in this situation includes BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, Thymosin Alpha-1, and VIP for SIRS-type presentations. And the stat that surprised even me… A 2025 case series in the American Journal of Medical Sciences looked at 47 people with MCAS who were put on a GLP-1, and 89% saw a remission of their MCAS symptoms. It’s one small case series, so it isn’t a recommendation, but it’s interesting. You’re essentially modulating the gut, and the gut is where about 75% of the immune system lives. Mast cell support like quercetin, luteolin, stinging nettle, DAO, and vitamin C can pair with this, and the nervous system absolutely matters as well. Comment 518 and I’ll send you the full episode link! ❤️❤️❤️ Save this and send it to someone with MCAS who’s been told to avoid everything. This is educational and not medical advice. Talk to your practitioner before changing your protocol. #artofbeingwell #selfhealers #mcas #histamineintolerance
Thinking so much of Ciara Mageean’s husband, family and friends 💔 In Ciara’s words, we need to smell the roses because this doesn’t last forever… such an important reminder for us all to live this one life and love with everything we’ve got 🫶 Rest in peace Ciara 💚
Your own hot tub. Three days chasing waterfalls. Less than £300. 👀 Save this Mid Wales weekend itinerary — forest boardwalks that feel like Canada, waterfalls hidden in woodland and two nights with a hot tub waiting when you get back. 🌲♨️ 📍 STAY: Alpaca Pod 1, Rhayader Despite the name, this is an extra-wide shepherd’s hut, giving you more room than the usual cosy cabin squeeze. Your own hot tub, space to switch off and the perfect base for exploring Mid Wales with Holidays Wales - £280 for 2 nights 🥾 STOP 1: Hafod Estate Think moss-covered woodland, bridges over rocky gorges and riverside trails where you’ll keep stopping for “just one more photo”. This is the kind of place you come for a quick walk and lose half a day exploring. - Free entry + Free Parking 🌲 STOP 2: Hafren Forest A winding boardwalk beside the River Severn, towering trees and rushing water providing the soundtrack. If you’ve been dreaming of Canadian forest scenery, put this Welsh walk on your list - Free entry + Free Parking 💦 STOP 3: Devil’s Bridge Falls Follow the circular woodland trail around a dramatic gorge, with waterfall viewpoints that make every step worth it. Refuel at The Hafod afterwards, then head back for the best part of any walking weekend: sinking into your hot tub - entry £5.50 - Free Parking Waterfalls by day. Hot tub by night. That’s your next weekend sorted. Save this for your next Wales getaway and send it to whoever needs a weekend away with you. 🤍 #MidWales #WalesGetaway #HolidaysWales #HotTubBreak #WalesWaterfalls
