This weekend was the hugely successful Student Whitewater Safety Weekend in North Wales.

63 students.
12 world class coaches.
2 days focused on how to keep each other safe while having the best time ever.
All abilities and experience levels.

We were blessed with rain giving us a range of river sections to suit all needs and then the sun came out to enjoy the water in!

Here’s Team 4 (@newcastleunicanoeclub and @bangorunicanoeclub) with FlowFree coach @flowfree_lowri learning river reading, safe group management, an introduction to leading and some safety and rescue along the way on the River Llugwy.
