Michigan Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers told Dana Bash he would have backed the Russia sanctions bill that Trump waived and is skeptical the diesel strategy will work. He rejected the idea that Trump is siding with Russia, saying the president is trying to lower prices.
🎤 John Rhodes Interview | Full 10-Minute Version I interviewed John Rhodes, Republican candidate for North Carolina House District 98, about the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump’s legal cases, constitutional rights, and political accountability. One notable moment comes when Rhodes tells me I have the right to exercise my Second Amendment rights while discussing my protest. He appears to mix up the Second Amendment, which concerns the right to bear arms, with the First Amendment, which protects freedom of speech and peaceful assembly. We also discuss the 2020 election, which Rhodes maintains Trump won; Trump's 34-count felony conviction in New York; and the civil case involving E. Jean Carroll, in which a jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation. This is the full 10-minute conversation, with significantly more context than the original 2½-minute version. Watch the full interview and decide for yourself.
