The problem is not about one individual; it is about an entire system that has become so deeply interconnected that it resembles a structure corroded by corruption and neglect.

We need to reconsider the privileges and benefits provided to MPs, MLAs, ministers, and government employees—particularly those benefits that appear disconnected from performance, accountability, or measurable public service. The mechanisms that allow public office to become a source of personal financial advantage must be examined and, where necessary, dismantled.

If the basic needs of citizens and essential public sectors are being transferred into private hands, then we should also be willing to rethink how public offices themselves are structured. The appointment, tenure, privileges, and accountability of elected representatives—and even the functioning of the judiciary—deserve serious institutional scrutiny, transparency, and reform.

Decades after independence, the backlog of cases and unresolved files continues to grow, alongside our population and economic challenges.

The real question is not about blaming one person.

It is about whether our institutions are still designed to serve the people—or whether the system itself now needs fundamental reform.
