This summer I completed my studies at @sacredwindowstudies in their Conscious Postpartum Care Provider training. The 9-month slow, deep-dive into nourishment awakened my heart to the possibility of tender care that families can receive in this precious window of time. We focused on cooking, bodywork, herbalism, ceremony, community building, and compassionate listening. This weaves beautifully with the offerings I already have, and I’m here to support people in understanding what support is needed for their specific family.

What was special about this program is that it was all through the Ayurvedic lens, which is the ancient healing wisdom that was born from India and translates to “The Science of Life.” It is a living science that works to balance all of the elements within oneself and one’s environment. For example, during postpartum the elements of ether and air are elevated due to the space created after giving birth. That is why we focus on slowly increasing (digestive) fire with warm and nourishing foods, growing in complexity overtime.

Please keep me in mind for friends that are growing their families. Ideally I connect with a client during pregnancy, however I’m happy to support at any point during the first year with at-home care. I travel up to an hour from Haverhill, MA.
