Welcome to Part 5 of our 10-exhibits feature series! Today, we feature Mycelium Structures: Future Biomimetic Climate Solutions, exploring fungi as a revolutionary green material

This project explores mycelium as a sustainable building material for cooling and climate mitigation in hot climates. By testing white oyster, pink oyster, and reishi mushrooms, the research reveals reishi’s superior performance in thermal insulation, structural bricks, and bio-containers. Integrating cultivation into food labs enables on-site production while harnessing nature’s biomimetic resilience 🍄🧱
