Plenty of posts out I keep seeing about annoying things clients say, and I mean there’s a LOT of these. It’s not that they’re not relatable, they’re clearly painfully familiar for a lot of us.

But the truth is, on the most part, my clients are brilliant. They’re why I do my job, and don’t just sit in a hole somewhere crying with my camera and a frozen pizza. There are so many things I hear on and off set, from any member of the team. They signal a great shoot, are the best moments of freelancing, and keep me doing my best. Because yes we’ve all heard something that’s made us have to stare into the abyss for 3 minutes before even being capable of forming a response.
But the cheerleaders? They outperform every time.
