The road to return is paved by a relentless pursuit of winning. #ZeroDoubt

The interview went well… but will I actually end up in a movie or commercial?! 👀🎬

What an interesting experience! Definitely something I never imagined myself doing at 40 🥹

A little nervous, a lot excited, and so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone ✔️

Are you becoming more adventurous or more cautious as you get older?

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t had the courage to do yet?

Do you believe life begins at 40, or is that just something we tell ourselves?

When was the last time you stepped outside your comfort zone?

I bought my very first camera today. Yep. She’s all mine.

After high school, my mom gave me her camera and taught me everything she knew. I hit the ground running and started my own business. It started out slow, but it was there.

Eventually I fell in love with photographing families. Your families. 🤍

My first fall season, I photographed three families. Three. And honestly, it STRESSED me out. 😂 But I remember leaving those sessions feeling alive and so fulfilled. I had found my thing 🤍.

My mom’s camera saw me through SO many sessions. It captured so many good memories, so much laughter, and so many big moments. It took me from working with three families to hundreds of families. (Don’t worry, she’s still part of the team. She’s just taking a much-needed rest.)

I worked hard for this day. Hard to pay for my own camera… my DREAM camera. And I’m really proud of myself.

I have a lot to learn on this camera before next year, and I’m so excited for it. Excited to learn, excited to grow, and excited to see what this camera and I can create together.

So here’s to what’s next. A new era of capturing families through my lens.

And honestly, I can’t wait.

Welcome to the team! 📸🤍
