I didn’t stay lean at 59 by eating perfectly, I did it by learning how to eat for my goals *and* still have a real life. 😂

I spent my 20s and 30s trying to eat as little as possible, cutting carbs and believing one “fun” meal could undo all my progress.

Thank goodness I grew out of that.

At 59, I eat to support my muscle, energy and the life I want to live, not to punish myself into being smaller.

That means protein at my meals, carbs that fuel my workouts, vegetables, fruit, bone broth when I want something warm and savory… and yes, pizza and dinners out too.

The goal was never perfection. It was building a way of eating I could actually maintain.

Because a healthy lifestyle should help you feel stronger and more confident, not make you afraid of food or exhausted from trying to follow impossible rules.
